LSFC student makes England Colleges Squad

Luton Sixth form College Student, Tremayne Charles has been selected for the 2011 England Colleges Football Squad.

Tremayne who is a first year PE student at the college is delighted with his selection but realises that getting selected was the easy part.  Tremayne says ‘I worked hard to make the squad but I am now mainly focusing on keeping my place as an England Player and achieving more success in my future football career.’

Tremayne attended three trial events held by British Colleges Sport along with over 150 student footballers. This is a huge boost to the ambitious plans at  Luton Sixth Form College to further develop their sporting excellence and will hopefully inspire others to participate and achieve at the highest local and national level. College football coaches, Lee Cowley and Stuart Sinclair, are extremely proud of Tremayne and all the hard work he has put in over the past three months to secure his place in the squad. Tremayne and the rest of the England Squad face Wales in their opening match at Easter.
