Enrichment

Being a student at College isn’t just about doing well on the course. It’s also a time to develop individual interests and to try out some new activities.

Although some enrichment activities may be subject related, we encourage you to use the opportunities available to you to try something completely new.

There is a wide enrichment programme put together by our enrichment co-ordinator. An enrichment fair will introduce you to the various activities in your first week at College and your personal tutor will discuss enrichment activities with you.

For many students, these may be based around a sporting, musical or artistic interest, but enrichment includes voluntary and charity work, the Debating Society and the Duke of Edinburgh outdoor activities scheme. Alternatively, why not start up your own club or society with a group of friends reflecting your interests?

For students following the AQA Baccalaureate programme, our enrichment provision is fully endorsed by the AQA, giving access to their online enrichment diary. For all students we would like to be able to record and celebrate your individual contribution to enrichment, so that you can present a more rounded  picture of your interests and involvement to universities or potential employers.
