STUDENT SUPPORT

We want to ensure that whatever their background or circumstances, students have the support they need to be healthy, feel safe, enjoy and achieve during their time at College.

Information Centre

The Information Centre is open throughout the day and can help you identify the appropriate service or advisor you need, as well as how to find them. They are able to provide information and advice on a wide variety of academic and support services, including attendance monitoring, Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA), grants, travel and any other queries. They will also be able to provide advice on our new Weekly Payment Scheme.

Personal Tutor/Student Manager

Your Personal Tutor’s first role is to help you settle in and make the most of your time at College. You will meet your Personal Tutor once or twice a week and he/she will guide you through your course and follow your progress. You will be encouraged to take opportunities to develop your skills and become an independent thinker. Personal Tutors also work closely with parents and are supported by a Student Manager, who will have overall responsibility for your welfare and progress throughout your course.
