What do I have to pay?
- Materials fee
All students pay a one-off, non returnable fee of £25 per year, to cover the costs of materials and posting of exam certificates. N.B. This does not include any special or additional materials that may be needed for some courses or projects.
- Course fees and examination fees
If you meet the following criteria, you do not have to pay the course and examination fees:
- EU national
- Have lived in the UK or EU for three years prior to the start of the course
- Attend at least 90% of classes
- Entry is recommended by your tutor

What financial help is available?
- Student Support Scheme
The College has set up its own Student Support Scheme to replace EMA and the old Learner Support Fund (LSF). This is funded by the governemnt, but at a much lower level of funding than EMA.
- Student SaverCard
Students who are over 16 and under 19 years of age and living in Luton can currently apply for a Savercard. The Savercard costs £10.00 for the year and entitles students to discounted fares on Arriva and Centrebus routes in Luton – this is for unlimited travel 7 days a week. Application forms are usually available from the Admissions Department from July – please telephone 01582-432585 and we will send you one.
Students living outside Luton but within Bedfordshire should contact Bedford Borough Council on 01234-718004 for information regarding bus passes.
