Equality and Safeguarding
Luton Sixth Form College celebrates and values diversity.
The College is committed to providing learning and working environments free from discrimination, harassment or victimisation, in which each individual is treated with respect and dignity, and is able to fulfil his or her potential.
We seek to create an environment that is open and accessible, and where diversity and individual choice is respected, thus enabling every member of our community to participate fully in college life. Our latest annual report is available below:

Safeguarding
Luton Sixth Form College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students and staff. We expect all members of the College community, volunteers and visitors to share this commitment.
If you wish to contact a member of the Safeguarding Team please complete this form. Our inbox is continuously monitored between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday term time only.
Our aim is to respond to your comment within the hour.
All students have the right to be safe and feel secure both within the College and whilst engaged in related activities. We will ensure that relevant and effective safeguarding practices exist which are actively promoted. The College will create and maintain a safe and secure environment where students can learn and develop, and will encourage students and staff to talk to the appropriate staff about concerns they may have regarding health, safety and welfare.
All visitors to the College are therefore asked to report and sign in at main reception on arrival. You will be given a badge to wear which you must display at all times while on our premises.
Promoting British values
Luton Sixth Form College takes every opportunity to promote British Values, defined by the Government as the following:
- Democracy
- The rule of law
- Individual liberty
- Mutual respect
- Tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs
In actively promoting British Values, we will also focus on, and be able to show, how our work with students is effective in embedding fundamental British Values. Actively promoting also means challenging students, staff, parents or carers that may express opinions contrary to fundamental British Values, including extremist views
